Does G Adsense have a three strikes your out rule?

I mean, a friend of mine was warned on two separate issues that they were in viloation of the TOS, but it was just a warning. Rectified the issue within minutes of the warning from G.

Anyone know anything about a three strikes rule? Or what do they do with the info?

From what I've read it's more like Russian Roulette than Baseball.

Some are not so lucky to get even one warning, never mind 2.

Of course all this depends on what the problem is in the first place and how severe ...!

But with the Adsense Team taking time out to contact the publisher first about the problem, and allowing for the problem to resolved by the publisher so they can stay in the program is much better than the instant dismissals we were hearing about early on, and is good hear of a proactive approach is being taken, so tell your friend they are very very lucky indeed.

TonysDesigns, I haven't heard that Google has a formal policy of any kind about warnings and termination. Did you hear something about a 3 strike rule somewhere?

I don't think there is anything to a three strikes rule, unless you are caught doing the same thing wrong three times. But if they are different issues, I wouldn't worry.

But I would advise your "friend" take a very close readthrough of the AdSense Terms/FAQ/Policies. It is far better to be safe than sorry when you are violating any of the rules, since you never know when their patience might run out ;)

Hey guyz,

Thanks for all the messages back.

RochmondSteve: Nope I have not heard of this, just wondering for the sake of my friend James.

Jenstar: Thanks for the info back, as I think they were different issues.

Take care guyz

If it's about clicks, you don't even get one strike. But about other stuff, you will probably get the warning notice. Every thread here that I've seen about some one geting caned was from fraud clicks, or they wern't making good clicks. I've had one 'warning', about no content, but they understood when I told them that the one file was my SSI file that contains just the ads and then shows up on all the content pages.

Apparently the warnings were about the G ad (skyscraper) was in a table that had some sort of title.

He said it was only the name(title) of his website that was at the top of the table. Violation for some reason or another.
