I wrote to AdSense recently to tell them that I felt that the ads displaying on one of my sites were on topic but not well targeted for the audience.

I received a response saying that AdSense has won awards for their technology and there was nothing wrong with their algo, blah, blah, blah. Your standard canned response.

Anyway, about a day or two later I received a full crawl from Mediabot and I am happy to report that the ads are *much* more on target for the audience. And my CTR has increased with no increase in impressions.

I don't know if the message got to the right person eventually but the ad quality that is showing now is very close to perfect.

Way to go AdSense team!

When you say a crawl, was the mediabot following links? Or did it seem to be hitting every page you've ever had AdSense on? Or was it more like they flipped a switch so if a page was requested that particular day on your site, they'd send the mediabot off to spider it?
