Am I right in thinking that if someone pulls your page from cache, like from aol or some other isp, it shows up on your impression count, but not on you sites log files.

Yep. As the page isn't located on your server, your server log files cannot record it.

So if you had a lot of pages pulled from some various isp caches your impression cout might actually exceed the page count shown in your log files?
