I have been checking my account for several weeks now and noticed that after logging in, above the Date range to display the report, I get a box that states "U.S. tax laws require that Google collect tax-related information..." blah, blah, blah.
Well, we have already submiited this info to the G using our tax ID number when we signed up for the program, In fact, if I remember correctly, the process wouldn't let us complete the application unless we submitted this info.
Is this info there just as information? Does everyone see this? I am just curious as we gave the the info, but the box as it appears seems to indicate that it is a reminder that we need to do this.
Thanks
I think Google leaves that box there for the publishers that have not sent in their information or want to update their info.
If you want to verify that Google has received your info, click on the "submit your tax information" link.
The following page should say
"Our records indicate that you have already submitted the appropriate information"

I just clicked it and it goes to the tax wizard page. I don't get it, I filled out this info already. Is there a time period before it shows (somehow) that the tax info was filled out?
Or is there any other way of finding out short of emailing them?
When you click on the "submit your tax information" link does the following page say this
"U.S. tax law requires that Google collect tax-related information from all AdSense publishers. Our records indicate that you have already submitted the appropriate information. You are solely responsible for providing and maintaining accurate tax information associated with your account. Should your tax information change, you may resubmit your tax forms at any time. Thank you for your cooperation."
above the tax wizard?
If not than Google does not have your tax information and you need to resubmit it.
