I know you are not supposed to use adsense on a search page or search results page, but don't know how close this comes to the line.

I have a client who runs an internet radio website, he is already approved for adsense and is happy with the results. He has a page that lists all of the available songs and allows you to drill down and select which song you would like to hear. Would this be viewed as a search page, and get him dropped?

What you describe sounds like a directory (of song titles) with links that take the user to a page about an individual song when clicked. Putting AdSense on such a page (or the target pages) is not against the TOS.

I have a similar site with a very similar structure that runs adsense with no problems. You should be fine :)

You can if you have had the approval from the google adsense team

If you are in any doubt about the type of pages you have placed the code ask them to have a look at the site or pages to verify it is not violating the adsense TOS
