Guys I dont have adsense on my site but really....Is this true or possible: Scenario:--
Hello I have a question. Primarily on a different forum that featured Google Adsense a writer stated that he makes between 300 – 320 dollars per day on Adsense revenue. Now this is thirty days per month that’s a good income undoubtedly.

Now I emailed him and asked him how he stated that he had a website about 15,000 pages that get at least 1 click on each page per day. This is truly amazing. He said he cant tell me what the rate he is paid on Google Adsense so I cant tell if his monthly earning is based on this. He did tell me though that they are many people in the business who make this kind of revenue.

Is this likely guys I am sure that Google must map your IP address so you cant click on your own ads so is the FOR REAL…..

Any thoughts.

gamiziuk,
You website would trigger a duplicate content filter with Google and you can start all again.

A close friend has a relatively small site, but highly targeted: and he is making about $150 per day (and receiving cheques etc) So, IMO it is possible to make $300!

High demand topic + 1700 pgs + 7000 visitors/day + frequent optimization = $750/day

Believe me ;).

I'd say you misunderstood about his EVERY page getting hit EVERY day unless he meant by spiderbots. Very unlikely.

I make between $350 - $1000 per day with adsense. It is possible, it is hard work, and you don't get "nout for out!"

There is no point even contemplating clicking on any of your adverts or trying to get other people to. The only way to make this kind of money is from genuine clicks from genuine visitors.

Your site should fundamentally be content rich and give the user what they are looking for, whilst at the same time giving them the option of looking elsewhere.

I spend an awful lot of time and money on my sites, and have, I hope, found a formula that gives the end user what they want, at the same time as providing mself with a very healthy income. However, I think that over time the revenues earned from Adsense will see a significant decline, as with the recent devastation that has hit Adwords customers will have a knock-on effect. A lot of these big Adwords clients will start to look at alternative means of advertising - MSN, Yahoo etc, which will result in fewer advertisers available for the Adsense adverts. In the short term, one might see a slight increase in revenue from Adsense, as people futilely attempt to increase their keyword bidding in order to activate keywords. It will be intersting to see what happens over the next few weeks.

What do you mean by providing poeple option of looking elsewhere? Do you mean providing links to pages on other websites, especially to high authority sites, that complement information on your own page?

What I mean is, give them valuable content. Provide them with a limited set of adsense/or other adverts, but make sure you do not have a site that is purely full of adsense adverts. At the end of the day, we all know there are a lot of these sites out there, not only are Google striving to eliminate these, but they are creating a bad user experience which results in fewer people clicking on the adverts. Keep it simple and honest and you can't go wrong. I personally believe that people do not want to land at a page that bombards you with advertising and reams of content. They want to find what they are looking for quickly and succinctly. It works for me at any rate. Good luck!

I tend to think on most sites, most of the traffic concentrates onto some smaller percentage of the pages

Yup. Nearly always a power law distribution if you have more than a few pages. Doesn't mean it's not possible to construct a site that produces an even distribution. Just means it's going to be a very weird site in some regard (e.g., one high-traffic home page that randomly shuffles visitors to one of the other pages in the website).
