I just finally took a look at my adsense for the month of june. Income was 20% of what it was in April and May. Impressions were half of what they usually are. I can account it to World Cup, and holiday weekends. I imagine July will be alot better since there are no major US holidays for the rest of the month. Overall though...considering that I'm not on page 1 of any of the SERPS for my main keyword, I'm happy. During the month of june, I went ahead and added more content, set up a blog, started some dummy posts in the forum, set up an rss feed, and did a fairly good overhaul of SEO. So I took the downtime and expanded my base to create a stable platform in which i hope to get 100 billion impressions at a 10% CTR a day. :)
Actually, I'm ok with 10,000 impressions a day when I get there. My CTR is acceptable with that few impressions and my ads overall pay pretty nicely.
Hope everyone else is at least doing a little better then me.

I suppose it depends upon the nature of your site. Summer is bad for me, people in my niche are out there taking photos and not sitting surfing the web on long dark evenings surfing and thinking about buying. I don't get much traffic from the southern hemisphere, so their winter doesn't help me too much.

June and July are my dead months, should pick up in August. Adding good content always helps, thats why this summer isn't as bad for me as last summer.

Comparing summer traffic patterns on my website I can clearly see that it is AdSense that is dipping. In the past 25 days, EPC dipped steadily from 0.25 down to 0.11. On June, 23rd some kind of discontinuity happened to the CTR too. I do not depend too much on search engines (about 8%). It simply looks like AdSense slightly changed the inventory for my website and SmartPricing did the same. Currently I can see my daily earnings cut by about 60%. In 25 days. Not bad considering that 4th of July was there every year and that, even if I've got much more traffic than the previous year, I'm currently earning 15% of what I earned one year ago.
