I have an automatic generated RSS.

The script looks in the database of my CMS what pages have been edited in the last month.

Based on this, the RSS is automatic created.

You still need a popular site where people click your feed to be viewed in thier readers, all it does is inform them that your site has been updated. Still no easy answer to instant traffic. You can also submit your feed to an aggrigator and based on keywords it will go out to readers. These aggrigators are usally swamped. If you have time it may be worth developing RSS, but dont expect miracles.

I have an RSS feed on one of my sites. I can't say it helps with traffic or income.

There is an RSS forum here, right on webmasterworld. They might be able to help you out best.
