Some slowdown towards the end, all in all a good month. I'm currently living off adense income, hopefully living comfortably soon. I have about 20 websites mainly in the news business, no mfa's as all my sites were up and running since 1998. Good luck to all!

Congratulations,
It's refreshing to read a positive post in the midst of everything else at the moment.

June was good for me also...that is intil the 27th when my SERPS took a tumble.

I'm currently living off adense income

I was 80% living of AdSense income until June 27.

Income 70% reduced. Now I have to do again more in my web promotion business and hope the horror is soon over.

"I was 80% living of AdSense income until June 27."

No business should be that dependant on Google!

Sorry to be cruel but you deserve this and I hope you learn from it and don't allow it to happen again.

Sorry to be cruel but you deserve this

That was rather rude. Guess you should know a bit more about a person before telling him he deserves the misery he is in.

No business should be that dependant on Google!

My business is 100% dependent from Google.

I do not waste my time for actions beside my core business, only to be less dependant.

im not 100% googled for income but close enough to be very worried, last 4 days or so have been my worst in nearly 2 years.

something is defeintely not right, my content is the same, updated every other day and nothing else has warning bells regarding layout etc

it also seems many others have experienced an extreme drop in areas, so im not alone

funnily enough, its a record month for me as well, but considering last 4 days, this next month looks to be a record low

cheers

Does this mean that people will start looking towards alternatives to AdSenses, much the same as people on other forums here say they are looking towards other search engines?

Or is it just a temporary lull for some people?

My main site was built 18 months ago with no thought whatsoever for AS. We implemented it recently, as an extra source of income, on about 1/3 of the pages, but if it doesn't work after a 3 month trial, then naturally we will find alternatives, aswell as spreading our options with some affiliate ads.

We chose AS in the beginning because Google search provides a huge amount of trafffic for us, and wanted to be loyal. So far, AS is on track for what we expect. But I have no doubt that we would consider changing, if AS doesn't perform reasonably for us.

I am 100% adsense, nothing else I have tried has got beyond a very bad joke!

A very good record month for me to, averaging over $100 a day for the first time :)

Appalling yesterday, probably down to the damn footy and don't the Yanks have something distracting them from clicking this weekend?

Must start a campaign to ban sports and public holidays :D

Yes. If Google is successful at making SmartPricing reward publishers with good ROI and discourage publishers with bad ROI (and the odds of that success go up if their new payment processing program signs up a good smattering of advertisers), then publishers with bad ROI will inevitably be pushed to start trying AdSense alternatives.

This effectively shoves the lousy (from an advertiser's perspective) publishers onto the AdSense competitors, further reducing their chances of ever getting a foothold against Google.

If SmartPricing can accurately reflect advertiser returns, it's a silver bullet for Google against AdSense competitors.

"im not 100% googled for income but close enough to be very worried, last 4 days or so have been my worst in nearly 2 years".

I think you will find a lot of people suffered in the last few days of the month. However, it does seem to have picked up quite a bit since yesterday.

June saw me breaking my daily earnings record for each of the last six days. Final count, June was up 70 percent from May...
