Alternate url doesn't change

I changed the content of my alternate page, which shows up quite frequently because of a lack of ad inventory (in one of the 3 AdSense spots on the page). The old content kept showing up after 2 days.

Then I decided to change the aternate url, to force AdSense to show the new content. Nothing happened. Google is still showing the old content of the url that no longer exists.

I checked the source code with 'view source' and it clearly has the new url in place so I did not forget to upload the new code :)

Is this a bug in AdSense? How do I make AdSense show my new alternate content? Thanks!

Could it be a problem of broswer cache? I haven't had this problem but I don't change my alternate ad url that often.

No, I've tried it on 3 different pc's on 3 different internet connections, one of those had never before visited that site.

Anyone? I'm still seeing the no longer existing old content :(
