Sometimes ads in the normal leaderboard format are shown without URL. Why is this happening?

Is there any way for me to know where these ads are pointing to without clicking on them?

To see where the url is without clicking you can do two different things.

1. Use the AdSense Preview tool, this will show you the exact url your ad will lead to. You can go to Google and get the Preview tool, it's very simple to use.

2. If you place your cursor over the link withOUT clicking on it, you will see the index url of the site at the bottom of your browser page. This may not be the exact page the link is going to, but it will at least show the websites home page.

Hope this helps!

arikgub-

I have found that when the leaderboard is showing four ads, the URL is never shown. With three or fewer ads showing, it usually is.
