eCPM For Newbies!

Hello all. If this is clearly posted somewhere and I have not found it, please direct me to the place that explains it in newbie language.

I am not sure about eCPM versus EPC or CPC? I've never shown anything on my AdSense account about CPC. Is there something that some people have on their overview reports that I do not have? Or do you do like I do every day and take your earnings and divide it by the number of clicks?

Is there some way to choose that you want to be paid by clicks rather than eCPM? Not sure exactly how it works and if there is a way to improve my earnings. Thank you as always.

You can't choose how you wish to be paid: by CPC or eCPM, and Google Adsense does not spell out your EPC in your Adsense account.
