Do sites with scraped SERPS and adsense ads get banned nowadays?

What do you mean by how? People normally code their own tools.

Scraping a SERP - some people run a keyword search, and turn the results page into a MFA site. A rather lame concept - cant think of anything else to create an Adsense site?

I operate a number of travel/hotel reservation sites, and found I was getting clicks from quite a few such sites lately.

It left me scratching my head as to what to do about these sites linking to mine - but if these sites bring in clicks and I make some hotel reservations from them - what the heck. I'll take the clicks.

gamiziuk,
Do you have any idea if these specific MFA ads create sales?
I also saw that I'm getting traffic from MFA's but when I improved my tracking code, I saw that the traffic coming from these sites had a very low conversion rate.

I honestly do not know if these MFA's bring in "sales."

But I will take the traffic. I have Adsense on my sites too. I don't use Adwords - I rely on "natural" traffic.

Funny thing about these scraper sites - I have a BOATLOAD of data from affiliate networks that I can turn into websites (Sign up with Hotels.com and they are happy to give you a database of 50,000 hotels with affiliate links and free text that you can turn into web pages).

Why would anyone create a site with "fake" data when you can create a web site with REAL data? Its not like its really difficult.

as long as these MFA's bring you free traffic, what is the problem? unless you have very high bandwidth consuming site

This has been my experience also. I would never have thought that anyone would actually click on the links but that seems to be happening.

Its not a problem for me. I was just commenting that the people making sites that link to MY AFFILIATE LINKS are really stupid for doing this - instead of creating sites with their own affiliate links.

If you are asking whether scraper sites with adsense ads are banned in Adsense, I would answer "NO"
