end user approach for ad targeting

google tests new ad layout

at the bottom of 160x600 i have noticed that instead of "advertise on this site" it says : change ads to :

widgets designs
wholesale widgets
custom widgets
widget making

it looks like an end user approach for ad targeting issues.

i believe also it is a test as i don't see it mentioned in adwords whats new

I haven't seen anything like that. Sounds like a good idea though.

I haven't seen it as I don't have the "advertise on this site" enabled.

But if what you've outlined was offered as an alternative (fixed) option, I'd certainly consider having it. It sounds a bit like the "show ads about" box in that displays with adlinks.
