I just visited a web site to find out the date for the next holidays.

The visited web site contains not much keywords good for ads.

So it seems AdSense decided not to take the view words on the visited page, but my own surf history to determine what ads appear.

So I was surprised to see ads looking like on my own site. All the advertisers, I see usualy on one of my most important sites.

That's really got to help out the MFA sites! They won't need any content at all and they will probably get good paying ads! (Hopefully smartpriced to the extreme)

Ads relevant to me and not to the landing page are something I experienced since day one. I'm not too happy reading that, indeed, this would even help MFAs. You are right making me notice that.

I've long noticed the appearance of specific niche ads sitewide when advertising for those keywords... Makes sense to take referrer information into consideration over what's on the page.

Yeah

But it's truly annoying the referring site does not get the credit for "clicks" on this topic, at least as far as I know. The referring site is the one generating the topical interest in the first place.

I know, I know, "follow the money" and you'll find some more in Google's hands. And this could likely lead to conversions credited to the MFA site! What a way to destabilize a "Smart" pricing algorithm.

I fully agree.
