How long does it take for url filters to kick in?

I've got competitor ad's on my site

The title says it all.

I removed the code from my links page, and placed it in another page, but it looks like my testing page is only showing public service ads.

I don't mind so much right now (it's late here, very little traffic), but in the morning, I don't want to be driving my own customers elsewhere.

Don't panic. It'll take a few hours, then you'll never see the ones you don't want again. Just be sure that you are using the exact url that the competitor is using in your exclude file.

You may also want to use www. and non-www. versions of the domain in your exclude list, as in:

domain.com
www.domain.com

I've encountered several instances where unwanted advertisers have used both formats, and the AdSense filter has treated them as separate domains.
