Did I mess up my templates?

Hi there,

I run a website on widgetsport. Now I re-furbished a website for a friend on a topic totally unrelated to widgetsport.

I used my widgetsport-html as a template and just filled in the new content. Then I created a new google-adsense channel (in German, for this site) and added the new ads.

On all of the subpages of the new website there's appropriate, mostly German ads. Not so on the index-page - there it's widgetsports!

What the..? I double-checked the channel, url, code...there's no sign of widgetsports, why are there still ads for it? Very odd...advice is appreciated!

Wait until the mediabot comes by and searches the page. How long has the new index page been up? It can take a while for the crawlers to get updated content.

Ah, I see - just a couple of hours at the time of posting the topic, a few more right now. Thanks!

Yeah, just wait.
Sometimes, the ads don't even show in the correct colors at first. Then after a couple of visitors and pageviews, the colors change to the selected ones.

Weird it is, the Google AdSense Algorithm.
