91 clicks from a site that normally gets 10-15

So I think it has finally happened to me. I know I have an enemy and I logged in to my adsense account tonight and instead of the normal 100-150 clicks I see 250. I have a quick look at my channels and see 100 clicks from a personal site that normally only gets 10-15 a day. Checked my web stats and logs and sure enough it is from an ip that visits my site regularly and they looked at just 1 page back and forward for 15 minutes.

I emailed adsense straight away on their form saying that it seemed unusual and should I do anything. I also said that I would take the ads off until I heard from them.

I have banned that IP in htaccess

now i am waiting for the dreaded letter...

Anybody else have a similiar experience with a happy ending?

I have gotten single people clicking my ads literally 1000 times. It happens more than you think. Why do people do it? I have no idea. I never emailed Google or anything, it was just ignored.

Remember, don't overreact to these things. The AdSense system most likely knows this sort of problem and just ignores it or something.

That makes me feel ever so slightly better. Darn...now I'm worrying about the e-mail I fired off!
