What type of site do you have?

It depends, doesn't it? If you are getting focused traffic -- people looking for specific products or services -- and if there are advertisers bidding up your area, then you could be making much more.

If on the other hand you are getting a fairly random stream of traffic, mostly consisting of people looking for, for example, jokes or sports trivia, then $1 per day is not surprising.

Sheer volume does not guarantee good earnings.

The earlier comments are correct. It will vary depending upon dozens of factors but primarily the topic of the site, the quality of your visitors, and the way you implement your ads.

One of my highest traffic sites averages very few clicks and very low click value (averaging less than .10 per click. It is my poorest revenue generator as far as PPC earnings. One of my lowest traffic sites has a slightly better CTR but also averages 1-2 dollars per click. It accounts for about 75% of my earnings.

Assuming you get a Click through of 5%, which is quite conservative, you should get at least 150 clicks on 3000 impressions (the lower range of your impressions). The cost per click will vary depending on the type of your site, but you should average at least 5-7 cents, even if the site deals with a low cost per click nieche. So you should be earning at least in the region of $75 a day.

Where do you position your ads? Have you read about the "heat map"? (See the Google Adsense site).

You may well be able to improve the CTR with better position for the ads.
