Why are my click #s doubling on EVERY site?

when the impression numbers haven't changed

I've been having a great day so far, that's when I noticed something odd: across several sites, I have the same number of impressions for every channel as yesterday, only the number of clicks is twice the average.

If this had happened with only one site, it wouldn't strike me as odd, but every site I have adsense on is showing the average number of impressions but twice the average clicks. The sites aren't even connected or related, why exactly did my click numbers spike across all channels?

maybe adsense made your ads more content relevant.

I really can't guess but since it is across the board I would be jumping for joy! :)

Be aware that the click and impression statistics are not always generated at the same time. Keep a careful (obsessional) eye on your stats - you will frequently see the click count go up without any additional impressions.

As far as making the ads more content relevant, I could understand if it was just one site, but several of my sites? Tracking seems to be working fine, and a check of my stats on different sites show that traffic is normal.

I noticed a similar odd occurance.

I've received double the number of clicks with the same number of impressions on very small time frames.

I'd stop clicking my own ads to solve this problem!
(kidding)
I second vincevincevince's advice
save your stats and trace some of the frequent visiting IPs entry and exit points
and don't panic (yet)

it happened to me today, it's because you clicked on

This month, by channel & day

then all channels were selcted,

then you clicked

Aggregate data

so it made it look like double, because it added all your link unit channles with channels of sites...

hope you get me... too tired, going to slepp... zzzz
