Is this correct? You can show a maximum of 3 ad blocks (ie 3 horizontal skycrappers per page?)

And no Google ads must be shown in parked domains. (I'd like an explanation on this please) I have a main domain and other similar parked so if you enter the parked domain name in your browser address bar you see the main domain

IE: original domain: mydomain.com
parked domain: myotherdomain.com

You type myotherdomain.com and you will see mydomain.com

Is that prohibited?

No, that's not prohibited by Adsense, but it's WROONG in many different ways (duplicate contents -> Search engine penalization etc.)

I don't think so. You may have solid reasons to do so. IE you own your-domain.com and yourdomain.com
Users may tend to type yourdomain.com while your-domain.com is your original domain name. You would be missing lot of traffic just to avoid a parked domain.

In the other hand I see old sites with good content doing that and have no problem.

But I readed that in Adsense policies, and was amazed...

Terminology first:

I don't think a domain sending a redirect (301 and/or 302 answers) is to be considered "parked".

Domain parking is more domains that people might type that get ads as their only content. There are planty of domain parkign "services" as well.

Hence, I'm all for banning the real parked domains from adsense. There's no good reason to let people that aren't even going to write a single page on the subject earn money.

If the domain names are variations on each other (e.g. pluralizations) or if they are very closely related, you should to a redirect to the main domain. I agree with the earlier poster that showing the same content on multiple domains is a bad idea for many reasons.

If the domains are NOT closely related then I wouldn't try to monetize them with AdSense at all. It's probably harmless to do this for a handful of domains with low traffic, but if this sort of thing makes up a significant portion of your web strategy then it's going to become a problem.

I was not aware of the fact that you are allowed to show more than one block of ads - does that make sense at all? ie., increase CTR rather than piss off users?

Sometimes multiple ad blocks makes sense, sometimes it doesn't. The key is to find a balance that works.

Some sites do well with an adlinks block and a couple of adsense blocks (maybe at the beginning and end of an article?). So sites will do better with just one adblock (maybe a site where users are very sensitive to too much advertising).

The key is testing to see what works best for your site and audience.

I guess not everybody knows that but it's that way: 3 blocks for ads 1 block for adlinks for page.
