Yes.

You can have up to 3 AdUnits, 1 AdLink unit, and one referral unit for each product (i.e. you may have, on the same page, one ad for firefox, one for adsense, one for adwords, picasa and pack).

I have a question regarding 3 ad units.

I put the code for an ad unit on my blog just below the blog post code so it would appear between my text and entry footers (comment section). When I publish, the ad unit shows up in each of the three most recent blog entries, but not the ones after that.

Does that count as 1 unit or 3? It's one adsense code entry, but views as 3 different ads.

Hope I've described it clearly enough. I don't want to make an unintentional blunder with google....

What matters is how many ads blocks are showing, even if it's the same original code (duplicated by PHP or whatever).

So It counts as 3 blocks, make sure those are the only regular AdSense ads you have on your page!

Oh, you joke.... I'm increasingly seeing sites (including some with decent content) where you have to scroll down 600 or more pixels to get past the various Google ads.

yeah newbies, do that! bury your content in google ads, show everyone that you need money so badly, get smartpriced into oblivion and send your annoyed visitors to a nice clean tidied up site of one of your competitors who really has understood the game ;)
