Does anyone know when the December Adsense checks are to be sent out? First month, so I do not know what the actual timeline is.

My pick for December cheques to be sent out is 22nd of Jan.
Just kidding nobody knows except Google, but the post above is right on the mark. Google has sent out the checks in time except for one month.

Probably not even Google knows. In every company I have worked for it is known when a task is really going to be completed the day it is completed. ;-}
Of course, there are people at Google who know when they plan to send them. With the one exception of October checks, and we received e-mail about that delay, all of my checks have arrived just after the beginning of the month, so I expect my December check will arrive in the first few days of February.
What does everyone think?
Except for October's checks when Google had issues likely dealing with incorporating tax information into their system, they've honored their commitment to issue checks within 30 days following the close of the calendar month in which the revenue was earned. I just wish they'd list the actual date the check is sent, not a date up to a full two weeks earlier than actual, as was the case for me last month.
Many AdSense publishers don't realize how lucky they are in how quickly Google pays us. I just received a check last week from an ad network for revenue I earned last July.
I remember getting an email a few days ago saying that they'll send out cheques for the 2003 year-end payments. They give the opportunity to hold the payment if you send a request until January, 10. So i wouldn't epxect any payments earlier than ~15th...

Since we now have the 15th, i expect to see the first "Got the December cheque"-threads posted within the next few days.
Wednesday, December 17, 2003 Payment sent
in Payment History page and the check was printed on December 19, 2003. Then I finally got the check on January 8, 2004. It is 22 days after the Google state the Payment sent. It will cost me another 22 days for the bank to claim the money in Shanghai - Bank of China and the China Merchant Bank will do the work.
(Not sure if I should post this into the Fareast forum or this one. I do see people asking whether Google send check to? or how long does it take to receive a Google check at?)
Does other US mail arrive more quickly?
you say it usually takes them till about the mid of the following month to get them sent out?
