If you keep seeing the same ad over and over.

Is the advertising paying a premium?

AdSense is displaying the same ad over and over again on my site. I'm not complaining because the match of the ad to my content is perfect, but I don't see any revenue increase. Shouldn't that advertiser be paying a premium to dominate my site with his ad?

Or is AdSense showing it a lot because people are clicking on it? There's no shortage of targeted ads for my site, but this one is on almost all the time. Just wondering what the mechanics of this are. Thanks.

It could be site targeted cpm ad and the advertiser is paying bt 1000 page views not per click.

And you are right, perhaps Google thinks that this ad is likley to get the most clicks and money, and in your case like all of us, Google is not always right.

You can try blocking them for a day to see if they are really affecting your earnings.

beggers,

Take note that the adverts you see may well not be the same ones that someone else will see, even if yours look like they're the same each time.

If you can, visit your site from another machine, or get someone else to visit (make sure they don't click on the adverts!).

Paul.
