How far can go with 30,000 web pages

Is $1k/day in a year a reasonable plan?

I am new to ww and Adsense. I found this site very informative and healthy. Thank everybody for kindly contributions.

We have >30,000 web pages on a few establishing sites covering a variety of topics. Our plan is to add Adsense when releasing and aim at $1k/day in a year. Any comments or suggestions on the reasonableness of this goal would be highly appreciated. Thanks again!

That's a lot of pages (30K), but it's not the number of pages that determine your success with Adsense.

Your success will be more dependent upon your topic, and the amount of quality traffic you receive.

Depends on so much...

- Is the content one of a kind or copied content?
- Do you have good SERP's?
- How much traffic do you have?
- What is the quality of your traffic?
- What are your topics?
- How will the Adsense algo respond to your pages? (smartpricing!)
- What kind of "platform" has your site? (blog, forum, just good old html pages with quality content)

I could put up 30.000 pages and make only $10 a day with it. Someone else could make 10k a day with the same number of pages...

If 100000 people visit a one-page website, you can make 1000$ a day. If no one visits you 100000-page website you make 0,00$ a day.

This is a very old strategy. These days you can't just vomit up tens of thousands of pages and expect to get any real traffic.

Whether you succeed will have more to do with whether the sites are any good, whether these 30,000 pages add any real value to anything. And this is as it should be.

Thank you so much for all the very nice points!

Those are old (static) html pages but are unique on the Internet with good quality content (at least as I believe ;-) ). Web sites haven't been established but will be released next month, therefore many things that you asked I don't know yet. I will keep reporting any interesting/useful stuff here. Good luck to everybody.

You must have a fair few content writers.

Old pages with good content but haven't been established yet.

Does that mean your 30,000 pages haven't been published to the web yet?

Would you be planning to purchase "ready for AdSense" pages/sites?

I love to read about people that "think" they have a magic bullet...

If they truly did read anything here, I don't think some of the questions would even come up...

I'd be surprised if this person even gets all his 30,000+ pages indexed within a year...

thanks for the rant!

i have over 100,000 pages, and many dynamic pages to go with that and google only indexed around 500-1000 and even then they are put into a special "click here to view them" link which is lame.

So i agree with terra... pages? who cares... CTR...I dont believe in, real unique and interested visitors (the magical adsense train begins there) and without visitors your site has no reason to be on the web, maybe your localhost with a dynamic ip just to top it off.

I have about 100k pages, all indexed. For some keywords, I'm #1 on SERPS, but these keywords bring me only 10% of daily traffic.

It's been like that for 1.5 years now. It sucks.

I just do not understand this statement!

When releasing what?

and aim at $1k/day in a year.

It will depend on the quality of your site and the information contained therein. If my sites returned pro-rata with the quantity of pages I currently have then 30k pages theoretically would earn me $5k/day.

I doubt that helps other than to say that $1k/day is quite attainable!
