I use a stats package that tracks outbound clicks and I noticed quite a high number going to adlinks pages. I know this is by no means a surefire way of seeing every click but it seems to give me a good indicator.
From a period of about a month i have surmised that I am only getting about 30 percent of the people who click on the adlink actually going on to click on an ad. This seems starnge to me as I assumed that it would be more like 100 percent?
I am now wondering if It maybe doesn't suit my site and I should get rid of it.
Well, it is replacing a box where I used to have an adsense referal button which made me no money! :) so I won't be going back there!
Any opinions?
When you consider that there is nothing else to click but adverts it doesn't seem so good to me. I would have expected a few not to click but 7 out of 10 seems high and of course some may click on more than 1 ad so that would mean an average even less than 3 out of 10 are continuing on to click on ads.
