Some newbie questions

Ok, I currently just have a forum setup, and im planning on coding a site and putting some ads on there. I have a few questions:

1) How much revenue should i expect from 2000 members? 200 are active daily for 4+ hours, others just visit daily to see news.

2) Can i place to ads at the top (under banner) and one off to the right? And position effect how much I make?

1. It really depends on your subject, how much ads in that area pay, and whether your type of user clicks on ads. If they're always the same ads, and always the same users they may not click a lot. Probably only way to find out is to try it and see.

2. Position often affects how much ads get clicked. Which position is best is hotly debated on long threads here. Take a look around for some of those previous threads.
