Google AdSense workshop?

I attended a Yahoo Search Marketing Advertiser Workshop today in DC. I'd give it a 7/10, I'd recommend for publishers new to PPC campaign management. But every seat was filled! And I'd have to say, a very active seminar w/ lots of audience feedback. My question is: Is there a workshop/training seminar for Adsense? Is there a market for this?

I'd settle for monthly Adsense Pub meetings with beers instead of an all day training seminar with coffee & water.

Just a thought.

Hmmm. Don't know if there are any Google Adsense workshops, but there is an Adsense support group ... (this forum!)

Hosting a Google Adsense workshop would be an interesting show!

Good point, but that's what I thought about PPCing. Maybe deciding on ad formats & placement is just as tricky as what keywords to bid for? There must have been 50 people at this seminar at $300 a pop...pretty good turn-out if you ask me.

AdSense has had some online "Webinars" in the past. Presumably they'll have more in the future.

That's what I thought when I first read the question. But I'm sure it is for at least some folks. And our answers are colored by our own experiences with Adsense and other income programas.

For publishers with a ton of experience in other programs before Adsense came along, this thing probably looked like a ton of free money.

Even for folks like me, with no previous experience earning money from our websites, BUT with good sized and established sites, well it's hard to imagine earning money being much easier, (even though there was a bit of a learning curve, and still is).

So take someone new to the web, new to any kind of earnings from the web, and yes, a good solid introductory seminar/workshop good be very helpful.
