Received a mail from Adsense with the above subject line. For a moment, my heart skipped a beat. They have never written a mail to be before. Why are they writing now? Am I banned? Did I do something wrong? A thousand thoughts raced to my mind.

Thankfully it was just a newsletter. Phew.

Thank you adsense for still keeping me on! And for all those suggestions in that announcement.

The german translation is not that terrifying: Translated back to english it is "News from Adsense team".

Maybe they should change the english subject line to avoid injury.

I know exactly what you mean. The G income is now less of a bonus, and more of a necessity. A bad news message from Big G is more like being fired.

Google does NOT want to ban people. They just want to ban cheats and frauds!

I got that email too and was also thinking it was a getting-kicked-out email - I was nervous about opening it, thinking, well, this might be it. Luckily it wasn't.

Pretty funny, or not really you see an e-mail in your Google folder and you don't want to look, but you must. ;)

I did not get the email, I think my ISP is again blocking emails. When I started Adsense , they would reply to emails in 2-3 days , but for the last 1 year, I have not received a single reply from Adsense. Difficult to pinpoint the problem

Yeah, "Note from the Google AdSense Team" is pretty vague.
"AdSense Newsletter" (or something obviously NOT personal and more descriptive with what the email is about) would be better.
