I just got my first Cheque from Google.
You have no idea (or maybe some of you do know) how happy I am.
This is unbelievable. It's like winning the lottery, and the good part is knowing that next month I'm going to win again...
I'm running my web site for a few months. at the beginning I didn't think this thing is real. But I tried.
4 weeks ago I finally quit the job I had for the last 8 years.
People think I'm crazy. It's so hard to explain to them that there is so much money on the ground and you just need to pick it up. with a shovel :)
I wanted to say a big thank you to the brilliant people in this forum.
Newbies, believe it. It's real.

Congratulations!

I know the feeling; I made my first sale from one of my websites. I still haven't made anything from adsense-after 3 months. Though that will change when I move my sites to their own domain.

Wish I knew about Webmaster's World three months ago.

Hmmm, some people here also think you're crazy for quitting a job you've had for 8 years based on the experiences of just a few months from your web site. It's nice that you've decided to take control of your life and go in a new direction. But just make sure that the jump wasn't premature and that you are covered for future bumps in the road.

Are you putting all your eggs in the AdSense basket, or have you diversified into other streams of income in case something happens to your AdSense income? Go back and read the MANY "my AdSesnse account has been banned!" threads on this discussion board. If you have the "that will never happen to me" attitude, I can guarantee you that almost every single one of those thread writers had the same opinion. Can you survive if your AdSense income is suddenly shut off?

Asia,
You are right, We all need to think what will happen if AS will one day shut off.
In my case, AS is only part of the plan, I'm working on a few projects that only one of them involves AS, and since this is the quickest way to make money, This channel was chosen to provide the oxygen needed for the other dreams.
As many of you know, good AS projects can live with 1 hour of work a day, so this leaves me with the rest of the say to do all the rest.
Working 8 years in the same place is a long time. It is a long time to think and a long time to dream.
I was looking for an opportunity to make my dreams come true. AS just helped me doing it faster.
