Well I guess somebody had to do it, so why not me. My stats for the last 2 days are pretty normal, so nothing to mention there.

21 blue,
Thank you for the poem on Saturday. I really had an great evening with my kids. Unfortunately they woke up 5.30am the next Sunday.

This thread is now the official "stats-stuck", "this-is-my-best-day", etc. thread. Started every month by somebody else.

I suggest the next member to start this thread is 21_blue on 24-05-2006.

Kind regards,

Hmmmm... perhaps we need some moderator guidance here. I think the mods' intention, by putting the date before the title, was that "How's your day" would become an indefinite thread that they would restart whenever they thought it got too long (ie: the date stamp is just for archive purposes, but the thread is likely to run for several days before being restarted by the moderators).

The confusion over the expression "day" along with the date, that moTi pointed out, was a result of me starting the thread without thinking it through properly.

Please, let's set a side a new forum for all the "how ya doin" threads -- one I don't frequent. How about "Foo"? Let's stick them with it.

Precisely. I vote for that. I'd say posts about server going slow / stuck / offline are legitimate posts for this forum, but the interminable threads of "It's 10 minutes past midnight and my stats are low" threads should have a separate home. Recycle bin preferrably. Discussion of longer term trends are absolutely legitimate, but panicking before the day has barely started is a pointless waste of effort IMHO.
