How long from when we see the PIP, until we see the $$ in our mailbox? (i'm in USA, and i assume it's different for diff. countries?)

I seem to remember that it took about a week and a half after PiP for checks to show up (western US) when they were mailing checks, but I could be wrong. Last month, I had PiP on March 24th. I have EFT, and it showed up in my bank on March 28th.
The previous month, it was in my bank Feb 28th, with a PiP showing up on Feb 24.
It's not always the 24th and the 28th, though. I had a PiP on Jan 26 and Dec 23. Unfortunately, my immediately accessible bank records don't let me go that far back to see when the deposits were made.
I have a question :
PIP appeared in the same time? or it depends on the account's original country? or some thing else?
