I'm getting tired of Google and its staff of enthusiastic amateurs.
Still no PIP.You'd expect this level of professionalism from Wikipedia or DMOZ, not a publically quoted company.
According to the Account History page, "If your account balance reaches US $100 in any month, we'll send your payment before the end of the following month."
It's not the end of the month yet, so quit your crying.
Woo, hoo, if Google gets the money into my account by the 1st (Monday), I will still like them.
Do they have the right to make extra profits on interest. Sure they do.
You want real corporate villians? Think Exxon-Mobil handling your online ad account. The wording of their contract would be "we'll pay you when and if we feel like it."
Granted there may be complications internationally, but if Google were at fault the problems would show up in their US payments too.
People who know me know I'm not afraid to criticize Google when criticism is due.
I also know that once you start a consistant schedule of payment for people it can cause questions if it varies by a day or two ( scheduled payments have appeared on the 24th of every month for a while now).
People start to worry as they are also anticipating this payment by a certain date to pay others...the domino effect has begun.
We do need to cut Google some slack though...I have never received a payment after the 1st of any month and I have been with them since the beginning. It will be here...don't worry ;)
