If you are based in New Zealand, check your e-mails, because Google AdSense has just announced the option of EFT for us.

Just got the email myself - about time (now if only everyone else who sends me a cheque would get on the bandwagon)

While I am not in NZ this is great news that they are slowly, very slowly, offering EFT to more countries.
Would love to know why it is taking them so long, or even why NZ was before Australia, Singapore or Hong Kong.

Awesome.
Google are also advertising for more job positions for New Zealand so I think a Google New Zealand office will be opened soon. Maybe this is related..

Just checked if HK were included... still not in the list. I hope Hong Kong will follow soon. I think they have office here and I'm sure it won't be hard for them to set up EFT with Hong Kong banks like paypal does.

I wish they offer it soon for India too.
I have a feeling publishers in India probably take home a big part of adsense earnings. Any one has any info on this? Google already has a presence in India so why aren't we getting EFTs? waiting a month for that payment is cruel, very cruel :(

No email for me as yet?
Have all you other New Zealanders received an email from goog about this?

No email, but indeed the ability is there to have it direct credited.
I am in two minds about it however. One, its nice to get a cheque, and also bank it when the dollar drops, the other is the fear of losing the cheque or not getting it.

I'm in NZ. I haven't received any email, but, having spotted this thread, I have filled in the details for EFT.

Nope, still waiting. I am betting Easter delayed things a little.

Nope, did it on the first minute I saw it available, and nothing here yet.
I was expecting this to work before the 15, because I am moving home just on the days the Google cheque arrives...

Got the deposit in my account today (Wed 19.04). Confirmed it already.
I really hope it's not too late to receive this month as an EFT though...

Apr26 and Google has sent me a check.
Little disappointed as verified my EFT Apr19 (NZT, right after Easter) and hoped it would go through for this payment cycle. (I know changes after the 15th will go either way but still...)
Anyone from AU/NZ getting EFT this time?

Any ideas what the criterion for receiving this EFT email from google is?
I'm a new adsense account, in Australia and would love to get the payments via EFT (makes a lot of things a lot easier, especially since I'm located in the outback).
Paul.

Cheque here as well. (note spelling Rish ;) ) Oh well, next time.
Paul, I didn't receive an email either, no idea what the criteria for EFT is, but the option appeared in my profile so I took advantage of it. Have a look at your payment options and see if it is listed as an option.

Woz,
I checked about 10 minutes ago, no options other than Cheque or Cheque (hmmm... tough choice there).
I'll try again in a couple more days.
Paul.

EFT is not available in my country. Will Google allow me to use a bank account in some other country, different than mine? Now, in the billing preferences, I don't even see an option for EFT, I have only 2 options: cheque and secured cheque. I guess it is because of my address. I'm still waiting for payment for January revenues, getting a cheque on the mail is a pain in the neck for me. I think of flying to the Netherlands to open a bank account especially for this purpose. Did anybody do something (crazy) like that?

webdudek,
Opening a bank account in another country is not crazy ;)

I know it's not crazy :) but flying to Holland for that purpose and having a bank account for that purpose only, is not something many people would do, The thing is, I'm not sure if G will accept my new bank account details, since I don't even see this option in the billing preferences.
