I made an Excel chart of my daily Google Adsense earning from Jan 2004 until Apr 2006.

I've removed the dollar amounts but you can see the flucuations. Don't think the highest amount is huge, it's under $40.

Its good to see the overall rise in earnings. All I did was get better at placement and work the content. I have a small niche and this is on a Forum website.

I have not placed this image on my website with adsense or any content at all so the URL doesn't give anything away:
<snip>

That hole in the chart about Nov 2005 is Hurricane Wilma. My Isp was brought down for 10 days.

Excellent stuff. Thx for sharing.

I suggest to do a graph for 7 days and 30 days moving average as well. This will much better reveal the growth of your earnings, and tell you when you really leaped forward with your improvements. The daily fluctuations are too big to reveal this.

I have been asking Adsense for a long time to ad Charts to the reports. They would be very good to be able to see everything in a chart.

Sorry the graph had to be removed. It was pretty interesting and I encourage others to try it.

1. Setup a custom report.
2. download a CSV file
3. Open it in Excel
4. Chart the results.

A great thing to see is the correlation between impressions and earnings, clicks and earnings, and eCPM and earnings (etc).

Yes - charting data is very useful. I've done this since I started in January 2004.

I've seen all sorts of trends thanks to charting, and it's an easy way to see if any of your changes make a difference to the overall scheme of things.
