If you have a site with articles on it that are from one of these article banks, where you might find that article on many websites, will your payout per adsense click be lower than if it were a unique article?

I wouldn't think so. I think to the AdSense bot content is content duplicate or not.

You will find it harder to rank well in SERPS, but it does not impact the value of clicks.
