Does Competitive Ad Filter block sites when using Google Search?

Does this feature work for Search like it does for Ads?

Was curious the instructions and explanation on Google don't seem to mention whether you can also deny ads to be shown when a user searches for something from your site.

Anyone know if this is true? They have a tab for it, but I don't see any other info regarding this..

There is a separate filter for the AdSense Search boxes you can place on your site. It works the same as the filter for ads. If a user does a search, there will be ads displayed along with the results. You can block advertisers so they won't appear on that results page.
