3 month old site with all irrelevant ads

started off well

I have a 3 month old site that i modeled after another site in a totally different market.

The ads in the beginning were so so, but relevant. Now after 3 months the ads are all irrelevant.

Since the site shares content in terms of town names have i created some duplicate content adsense penalty if that is possible.

You would think the ads would get better over time, not worse.

Some topics just don't do well with adsense. I have one topic that gets lots of good ads but other's that don't do well at all.

When i use the Overture tool to see who and how many sites are bidding on my niche.

40 results come up ranging from $19.01 to $0.11.

So i am guessing there are plenty of ads to go around.
