I don't think they allow adsense on wordpress.com blogs yet.
humblebeginnings or anyone :), would like to ask something about wordpress. I've installed wordpress in my serve too..But if I want to edit the HTML, do I must edit it online? Can I edit it in HTML software such as dreamwaver and then upload it? If can, hope you guys can give some guide for me in editing wordpress..I'm not familiar to blogging but I'm learning now.

If I want to change the look and feel of my WP blog I edit the index.php, page.php, etcetera files offline and upload them with ftp. I have no idea about dreamw.
To be honest, I think this is more relevant to a wordpress forum. All the wp themes seem to me to be different, and I'm sure a wp forum (or the person who wrote the theme) might be the best option.
Man, sometimes I think I'm the stupidest guy in this forum, but how can you edit that .php file? Where do you get it from?
There are two versions of wordpress - one is hosted free by wordpress, and you can't put adsense on it. If you have this option, then don't try to incorporate adsense in it - problem solved.
The other is where you download the software from wordpress, then upload and install it to your web server. You can put adsense on this option. All the files mentioned are in the root of the folder you downloaded and extracted from the wordpress website.
I would say that if you are not familiar with editing .php files, I suggest you leave well alone! You can use the adsense plugin to add adsense to your blog if you are not familiar with .php. Otherwise, as suggested eariler, you will get advice from one of the wordpress forums or the developer of the wp theme you are using.

OK. I've hosted my website on Y! Now I saw a link to "Make a blog" stuff. I clicked. It gave me an option whether to do it thru Wordpress or Movable type, I clicked on Wordpress b/c I think it gives more options. Now, I've created the account and there it was! Everything is beautiful and simple with only one little problem...no adsense. Now I don't remember installing anything on my hard drive, so would that put me into category 1? If so, whooops!

I think you still fall under the second category (meaning you can add adsense to your wordpress blog).
The only difference is that instead of downloading the wordpress program onto your computer and installing it yourself, Yahoo made the process easier by doing install from their server with just a few clicks.
So now you have wordpress installed on your site. You just need to find a "plugin" that you can install to put adsense on your wordpress blog. Just do a google/yahoo search for: wordpress adsense
You'll find a few different ways of adding adsense to your blog.
You could also check in the wordpress.org support forums for more specific instructions.
