Check Reissue

How long does it take?

The check for my December earnings, which I should have received on the second week of February, did not arrive. As per G's requirement, I waited till Feb. 25 before informing them of the missing check. I have requested them to cancel the missing check and reissue a new one.

They promptly acknowledged my email with their usual reply. However, up to now the missing check has not yet been cancelled (G said that the phrase 'payment cancelled' will appear in the payment line once this happens).

My question is: does it really take this long, or should I send a follow-up email to G already? I'm afraid that the amount will once again be left out in the next payment cycle.

I'd appreciate any comments or advice on this. BTW, I'm already on secure and express delivery, so no need for reminders on this [ok, so I should have listened to you earlier... but that's how hard-headed I am :)]. Thanks to everyone.

Yes, it took long time to reissue my missing check last year, and yet I lost January 2006 check and asked them to reissue it again.

Just follow what Google say :)

I once lost one of my first checks before express delivery, they responded the next day and added the amount to the following month check, they were quick.

I notified them about 8 weeks after the check was issued and they added the amount to the next month's payment.

Moneyraker I have also canceled the check for my December earnings, on March 5. The payment canceled link appeared in about 15 days after that, but I didn't get the earning with the last check (for February). Guess it will come with the March earnings.
