AdSense on a test site

Will this cause any problem?

I have a copy of my site that is only visible to the machines within my local network here at my shop. I give it a name such as "domainname.test" instead of "domainname.com".

Anyway, I always make changes to the test site first and make sure the changes look OK, then I copy the updated pages to the publicly available .com site.

I just started applying some Adsense ads to my site. Of course, the ads are on my test site first. They show up fine, but neither Google nor anyone else has access to this test site. But I'm sure that google is getting a reference to a *.test site ad that isn't on it's list of registered publishers.

Will this cause any problem with Google when I view my own test pages and the ads appear? I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this.

I have been doing that for years with no problems.

Same here, and possibly more to the point I was doing this even prior to launch, so would have had a disproportioate ammount of such a state of affairs.
