Does Google withold clicks

Sometimes I do not get any clicks during the day, but I find there are few when I get up to check the stats in the morning. My traffic is not great as its a new site but its steady and usually get people coming to the site through the day.

Stats are delayed, you never know by how much.

Google's day ends at midnight Pacific time.

While you are sleeping, people on the other side of the world are at work, and may be visiting your site.

I am on the East Coast of the US, for example, and I know I get visitors from the UK. So I'm not surprised to see clicks when I get up at 7 AM and check my stats....
