Adsense postage

Problem with posting the ads

Maybe it's just because I'm new to Adsense, but I'm always getting problems with posting the ads on the right side of the page [I'm using SiteBuilder for publishing and Dreamweaver for editing the HTML code (since SiteBuilder doesn't allow you to edit it - which is quite dumb)]. Every time I edit the code [NOT the Adsense code, the HTML] and open the SAME page in Sitebuilder just to publish it, the Sitebuilder "corrects" the page in such a way that I'd have to re-build the page over and over again [now in SiteBuilder] just to have it published the way I want, and it completely loses the Adsense code! I didn't sleep the whole night for it and nothing worked.

Do you feel me, brother?! Now I'm M-A-D!

Why use sitebuilder at all? If you're creating the HTML in Dreamweaver simply FTP the pages to your website.

Well...that's a good point, but ummm.... how do you do that, again?

Get an FTP program and follow the instructions...

Dreamweaver has a built-in ftp client. Define your site and it does the rest.

I'll try that.

I tried that and it doesn't quite work, it's unable to publish through the FTP connection. I tried Front Page later, it looked like it's gonna work b/c it connected successfully, but when I opened it in the browser [FireFox], it gave me a blank page; I renamed the page to index.html, but it still was blank even when I re-published it.

Preview the page before you try to ftp it (F12 in Dreamweaver). If it looks okay then it probably is.

You could also try IE to upload your page/s. It's dead easy - login, then just copy and paste.

Ok, I just tried, it doesn't work. How do you connect to FTP thru IE? I put ftp://username:password@mywebsite.com and then it cannot connect b/c of time out. Is it that hard to publish a dam webpage, man?!

Ok, everything is fine now. I do it through Front Page and it looks OK for now, so I guess I'll stick to it, thanks for the support, guys.
