Is it b/c of Christmas?

I notice my Adsense dropped a bit... by 16-25% in the last 3 days. Do you think it has to do with Christmas or something else? Anyone care to take a guess?

I've seen a Christmas lull in traffic every year since 1997. Things usually pick up nicely by the first of the year, though.

Traffic will drop till the 1st week of Jan, unless you're a recipe site or have content targetted towards Christmas and New Years.

Start targetting content for Elvis' B'day, Martin Luther King's Day, Chinese New Years and Valentines Day.

Good time for the health/diet sites, too. Heh heh, New Year's resolutions coming up. Traffic has dipped a bit but Adsense earnings are up x3.

My revenue has halved in the past few days but that's just xmas for you. Nothing to worry about - it'll pick up again in the new year.

I was going to post a message about yesterday to see if anyone else had dropped.

All week it's been bad but yesterday (sunday) was a disaster. I had my usual 1k hits but only 2 clicks (which happened just as the 24 hours was about up).

Yesterday was by far my worst day ever beating even my first day using adsense where the 24hour period was up 2 hours after I joined.

I was tempted to pop along to a cyber cafe and click to make sure it was still working :)

My site, which is related to Shopping saw a 50% increase of traffic during december, peaking last friday. Since then it decreased by about 25%. Usually it stays quite low until the second week in January.

I've earned close to nothing in the past week, my earnings have dropped almost completly and I don't understand why, I have not changed anything and the traffic to my site is stable.. Maybe due to Christmas I suppose.

My impressions have decreased, but surprisingly the revenues have remained constant. I'm seeing a higher-than-average CTR for my site. I'm happy :o)

I went from 2000 page views a day to starting the 10th of december. I really had no idea why and i was blaming it on google adsense before i saw this thread (i implimented adsense about the same time as I saw the decrease in traffic). In the last two days Ive seen a slight increase in traffic. Any ideas on why traffic drops so drastically during xmas?

Well, mine is increasing day by day, but I am not selling any gifts or something like that but e-book and software. Is that because of Christmas, and will my traffic be decreasing after Christmas? I don`t see any direct reason for this.
