Did the google clock change or is it my day only that was 23 hours (approx 6 dollars!) shorter. And can I expect 6 dollars extra today? It used to reach end of google time at 8am here in the UK - is that still the same? My head hurts.

Does google time start and end at 7, 8, or 9 now in the UK? Is what I am really asking!

From my statistic, Google seems not to change to daylight saving time like Europe today.

This darn daylight saving! You all know what this means! Google will update your stats 1 hour later than usual. Relevant ads will be displayed also 1 hour later but MFA crap will show up 1 hour before you upload your new page. Not to mention that WW will show your post 1 hour before you wrote it, so itīs all gonna be a bit confusing for the days to come!

Daylight savings time doesn't start in the US until April 2.

Still perplexed by the logic behind cutting an inch off one end of a blanket only to sew it to the other end, there has to be better ways to save energy!

The blanket shrinks & grows of its own accord. You move it down in winter to keep your feet warm. You pull it over your head in summer so you can have lots of fun underneath the covers (so I'm told :-)).

This thread had me totally freaked out until I read this. My system clock syncs automatically and I was trying to figure out if it was 7:30 or 8:30.

I don't see why it's a problem - it's going to be solved very soon. Did you not get the memo about the new world order?

To summarise, with reference to Google and daylight saving:-

Due to the fact the US has failed to elect a competent president two times in the row, the right to self governance has lapsed and makes the treaty of independance null and void. The US will revert to being a colony of the UK, and will be governed from London.

As the former US (we will probably call is Americashire) will be governed from London, GMT will be the standard time zone across the entire USA. Therefore we Brits won't get confused by the weird time zones currently in operation. The yanks can call it Google Mean Time if they like - we won't have a tantrum and throw the toys out of the pram over it.

The timing of this will be quite soon. We can't enact this just yet as we have fallen into the same trap ourselves. As soon as we can get shot of the current incumbent of number 10 it will happen.

Anyway, the good news is that Americashire will probably be made part of the EU, and treated the same as other new mebmers. IE forced to contribute large amounts of money with no say in how it's spent. Mainly on supporting the major beneficiary of the CAP.

Won't it make life easier?

lol
I used to freez 'me buns' when I was in the UK

If you ask me, this shrinking & expanding thingie is a conspiracy and my degree in physics will enable me to expose it all, its a conspiracy I tell you.

Ha ha....if it were only true.

Careful what you say. The French, aka Normans, could make a similar argument about failure to elect a competent PM, march through the Chunnel, and reclaim Britain.

On the bright side, you'd be able to get decent food in a pub.

It's on the cards...
