Preview Tool Updated

Now featuring many more countries

Apparently, Google is working on the Preview tool. Today, I noticed a much longer list of target countries in the tool. At the same time, my EPC has tanked by 35%... *sigh* Just coincidence?

Still shows sites blocked months ago!

We need to know what ads are showing - not what ads might show if we hadn't blocked them already.

I dont understand how its still showing blocked sites. Never once have I seen a blocked one again. You must be using the wrong url or other detail?

I only add the bit after the w w w

And ignore everything before the dot if there is one. and dont include anything after the dot com or whatever.

not green.widget.c o m etc.

And I only check the big three. Canada, us, uk.

I'm blocking correctly. EG if I want to block www.greenwidgets.com I'll block greenwidgets.com

The ads don't show on my site again, but the adsense preview tool will often show ads that have been banned and are not seen on the site itself. That's my problem with it - it makes it a fairly useless tool, and whatever they have done to it now does not solve this basic flaw.

David is correct. Previously blocked sites do show. As one would expect, the preview tool is not affected by the settings we make using filters within our accounts.
