Placing code on others sites

Is it legal to place my adsense code on someone else's site with their permission?

As I understand it no, you can put your code on another site. But don't take my word for it, ask Google.
FWIW I had the chance to do this but didn't. I didn't like the idea of my AdSense code being on a site I don't control. Seems to me this is what you should be thinking about.

Yes, with permission, they do this on digital point if I'm not mistaken.

But I'd suggest against it because if the other people or domain gets banned for some odd reason you could get caught up in someone else's nightmare.
