My site is new - not even 2 months old yet, and so far my earnings to date are at $99.99! I've been stuck there since this morning WAITING for it to topple $100!

well, i'm totally happy with $99 in less than 2 months - it's way more than i expected, and $1 OVER my initial investment (i paid $98 to buy my domain name and host it for one year)..

thanks to all of you here for your help, tips and encouragement!

well, i see that you have 98 posts... maybe after you reach your 100th post, you will also topple that barrier at adsense ;)

But I still happy with it. I have a stable job with stable income at this moment. So probaly, those can cover my groceries and electric bill :)

I still working hard to exproler how increase my earning at this moment.

Congratulations on getting over that $100 hurdle and get ready to focus on your next target! Just a bit of encouragement. I'm not exactly an old hat at this, only started last June and there's so much more to do!

I remember the Friday when I made the first $1.50 from a site that I built a good few years before, it was an amazing feeling and it got me quite fired up about the possibility of making a living from what I enjoy instead of toiling away in a glass cage towing the corporate ball and chain behind me.

That was then – I’m still working full time and I’m about half way to my goal of being self-employed. I can almost smell freedom and with it the time I could really use to a) do the things I enjoy (non-Internet related) and b) build up my sites and truly diversify.

I’m probably going to do what many people advise against doing, jump ship without a really solid income and maybe lean a little hard on my Adsense income without many other alternatives. I’m happy to do this because I’m capable of doing whatever it takes to make it work, even if I do have to do a spot of burger-flipping at MacDonald’s in the afternoon or if I have to make do without a few luxuries. Someone once said to me “Want less”; maybe that is something I will bear in mind when I have a few days/weeks of poor performance.

Sorry about the long post – the main gist of it is, enjoy, look forward and be happy!
