Buzz Words - PSA Ads

I have page on my website that uses the word "attack" in the url which is a buzz word for adsense.

The page is in no way gory, or against tos. Just a simple video.

I would like to keep the url with the word attack to maintain the high se ranks, however adsense has started showing psa's on the page.

I tried using the "start content" tags for adsense, but no luck.

Any advice?

Thanks

I've got three pages with the word "attack" on my site (one even includes the word "terrorism"), and all show relevant AdSense contextual ads.

It's possible that the context in which you've used the word is is causing the PSAs, but it's equally possible that Google simply doesn't have any relevant ads at the moment for that specific page.

You could try asking Adsense support to have a look at the page in question. They seem to be able to reset the tripswitch from their end so the page displays relevant ads.

I posted about a similar problem with PSAs, before I even knew there were such things as buzz words. Adsense Advisor jumped in to help, lo and behold the PSAs vanished ;)

They're also called "stop words" (but this also has a different meaning for search engines).

Yes, if you email G and everything looks kosher on the page, they will probably reset whatever they reset to get ads going again. I run a news site and this happens to me about once every one or two months, and they've always turned me back on. Unfortunately, it always seems to happen to me on a Friday which means G doesn't usually get the email and fix it until the following Monday... :(

Thanks... I will email google. I'm in no major rush as it is only on about 5% of my site.

I'll keep you posted.

Thanks
