adwords and adsense

Here is a cool tip that might work for some of you, if you havent already done this. I just tried this 2 days ago.

I have an adwords account but never actually used it to promote my sites. 2 days ago i just set up few key words for my biggest income site. I set the limit for $30 a day and let it run. My adsense income increased by $50-$60 each day. So after my expenses i made $30-$40 more. Anyone else had success with adwords towards your adsense sites?

That'll be adsense arbitrage (or something similar sounding). Searching around the forums I think some people found it works to start with and then stops working. Clearly it must work all the time for some or we wouldn't be getting these MFAs everywhere.

Whatever the case you've inspired me - I've started my first Adwords campaign. I'm not expecting adsence to fund adwords on my site (lowish CTR due to well hidden adverts) but it's a fun experiment.
